South Suburban Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Centennial, Colorado. The facility has an 18-hole course, The Eighteen Hole Course, and a 9-hole course, The Nine Hole Course.
South Suburban Golf Course, The Eighteen Hole Course, opened for play in 1974. The course was designed by Richard M. Phelps.
South Suburban Golf Course, The Eighteen Hole Course has rolling fairways & large undulating greens that will challenge players of all abilities. The course plays to a par of 72 and maximum distance of 6,793 yards.
South Suburban Golf Course is considered to be one of the finest regional public golf courses in the area offering both an 18-hole regulation par 72 and a 9-hole par 3 beginners course; an expanded grass driving range; a practice putting green; a fully stocked pro shop; a Club Restaurant with food & beverage service.

I started playing this course 3-4 years ago. The greens used to be in outstanding condition. They have gone downhill during the last 2 years. They're okay to putt on (medium speed), but they used to be smooth and fast...maybe the dry winters are causing them problems.

Nice course but because they pretty much rape the non park district members for green fees it is the last place I take out of town guests when they visit Colorado.

Speedy greens - being above the hole is punitive. Otherwise, very playable for average players, with a few holes being quite tricky in terms of hitting the landing area. Course was in reasonable condition for the time of year.
